Our group at the SDU UAS Center is part of PERSIST — a DIREC research project on drones, AI and critical infrastructure. The project brings together research and industry to protect Denmark's vital installations with autonomous aerial systems: partners include the University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University, HOFOR, Ørsted and Robotto.ai.
PERSIST is a testimony to why research and industry need each other to create the digital technologies of the future — from autonomous inspection of energy infrastructure to intelligent monitoring of critical sites. The project team explains the vision in a short video on the announcement post.
