This summer I joined the IEEE RAS Summer School on Multi-Robot Systems at CTU in Prague — an intense week of lectures, hands-on tutorials, and team projects that culminated in real-world drone experiments outdoors.
The speaker lineup was outstanding: Prof. Bruno Siciliano (pioneer in robotic control), Prof. Iain Couzin (collective behavior at Max Planck), Prof. Sabine Hauert (swarm robotics at Bristol), Prof. Martin Saska (aerial swarms at CTU) and many more. Over 200 participants from leading universities worldwide designed swarm algorithms and tested them in the EAGLE.ONE drone arena on Císařský Island.
