I joined the teaching team of the second edition of the three-day PhD course "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or Drones) in Research and Industry" at the Department of Computer Science, Aalborg University — together with the MMMI swarm-robotics researchers (Anders Lyhne Christensen, Juan Bravo-Arrabal) and lecturers from ENAC, TU Wien, Robotto.ai and Droner.dk.

22 PhD students from diverse fields explored how drones are used across research and industry — including search and rescue, environmental monitoring, agriculture, surveillance, critical infrastructure, human-drone interaction, and multi-drone systems — through lectures, research discussions, hands-on flying, critical analysis of drone research, and even preparation for the A1/A3 drone pilot certificate.
